Description: Solo backpacking through Egypt in the first leg of my month long trip as I travel through Egypt & Jordan. Egypt & Jordan are undoubtedly on most people's travel bucket lists, but I've always had the impression that the majority of people travel there on an organised tour. So I wanted to give it a go by myself and see what it was like treating it like a normal backpacking trip, staying at hostel and booking everything on the go. This first episode covers the 3 weeks I spent solo travelling around Egypt. Starting out in Cairo, I visited the Great Pyramids at Giza as well as exploring Islamic Cairo. Then I took the train down to Aswan, visited Abu Simbel before boarding a 2 day cruise on the Nile to Luxor. At Luxor I visited the Valley of the Kings, Karnak and other temples.
